So sorry to hear about the demise of ESC. I had the privilege of being at the enviro conference at Asilomar (in '89 or '90) when Donald Ross talked up the concept of ESC as a necessary part of our movement building. I was skeptical about a new beltway organization. Yet I soon became a believer. ESC helped Nevada grassroots groups with training and resources to take on Yucca Mountain, for which we will forever remain grateful. [September 22, 2011]
