   LEAP Class of 2009

Baltimore, Maryland, May 2008

Teams from Citizens League for Environmental Action Now (TX), Ipswich River Watershed Society (MA), Ogeechee Canoochee Riverkeeper (GA), Union de Vecinos (CA), and Wind River Alliance (WY) participated in a three-day orientation workshop which focused on organizational development and capacity building.

The retreat concluded with each organization working on an action plan that will guide them through their LEAP process. Each organization will receive a subsidy of up to $10,000.

The Class of 2009 will graduate in November 2009 and will emerge as stronger, healthier organizations.

As a result of the Environmental Support Center's program reorganization, we will not be accepting new applications to the LEAP program.

However, long-term organization assistance remains available through our General Capacity Building Support  and Fundraising for Sustainable Organizations programs.  Please visit these pages to read more about how ESC can support your capacity building work.
