The Gulf Coast Funders for Equity (GCFE) was established to promote a racially just, equitable and sustainable rebuilding of Gulf Coast communities ravaged by hurricanes, with a special emphasis on those impacted by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The goal of the collaborative is to ensure that all residents, particularly those with the least access to resources, and other allies from the impacted areas are central to decision-making and implementation of rebuilding efforts.

This grant round is for Louisiana only. Grant guidelines are available here. The application deadline is Monday, March 15, 2010. Grant decisions will be announced on May 1, 2010.
